Gilad Atzmon's critically acclaimed 2009 album 'In Loving Memory of America' saw his celebrated Orient House Ensemble teaming up with Ros Stephen's Sigamos String Quartet in interpretations of Charlie Parker’s legendary strings recording, as well as new works by Gilad. The combination of Gilad's unparalleled bebop virtuosity with stunning strings arrangements by Ros resulted in a very special project described by the Scotsman as "a genuine expression of love". Tonight Gilad recreates music from the album together with Bowfiddle as part of the String Quartet Festival.
